Mario was born and raised in the beautiful suburbs of Quebec City.

After studying engineering, he pursued a career in medical device research and development, eventually ending his career as a sales representative for the Quebec City region. A wonderful 44-year adventure with the same company!

Mario has been passionate about motorsports since he was a child. He’s ridden dirt bikes, motocross bikes, touring motorcycles, and ATVs—everything with wheels!

The passion began on a Saturday morning in December 1974, when a pickup truck showed up at the family house; delivery of a 1974 Bombardier Olympique 400! I was 12 years old! And off we went…26 snowmobiles later.

Over the years, more than 50, he has traveled and re-traveled the trails of Quebec with an in-depth knowledge of the territory. You’ll never get lost with him… in theory, LOL.

Mario met Gary in December 2023 by pure chance at a Charlevoix lodge. While chatting, he expressed his dream and desire to become a guide. His certification was in progress, Gary gave him a business card…In December 2024, He officially became part of the team.

Mario is certified as a Quebec guide, in wilderness first aid and CPR/AED.

He drives a 2025 Ski-Doo Grand Touring 900 Turbo R snowmobile.

Mario enjoys spending time in nature with his two grown children, his three grandchildren, and his family. He loves the outdoors, hiking, and fishing.
